Miu Miu ‘A Journey of Becoming’ pops up at Villa 515 Dubai
In honour of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Miu Miu teams up with Villa 515 Dubai to present a special cultural program. The collaboration transforms Villa 515 into an intimate, elegant space where guests can create meaningful memories while embracing local traditions. The venue offers an all-day dining experience featuring a suhoor-inspired menu by Chef Sarah Aqel.
The program kicks off with a series of curated cultural activities by Zain Masud, setting the tone for introspection and meaningful dialogue. Guests are encouraged to engage with conversation cards that inspire imaginative discussions and reflections.
A highlight of the event is the Timeless Botanicals Workshop, where attendees can create personalised postcards using dried flowers, each bloom symbolising a unique message for their loved ones.
Central to the Journey of Becoming is a deep connection to words and narrative. Storytelling Night with Alia Al Shamsi and Manar Al Hinai invites guests to explore memory through scent, texture, and narrative, delving into the profound impact of a woman's childhood on her adult life.
The Conversation Night features Butheina Kazim in dialogue with Tunisian-born film director Erige Sehiri, exploring women's journeys into cinema and the ways this medium shapes both creators and audiences. These discussions draw from real-life stories, enhancing the authenticity of the experience.
Live music performances enrich each evening, evoking emotions and memories tied to both the present and the past. The program opens with a special performance by Rahma Riad, and each night unfolds to tell a captivating, intelligent story that invites reflection and engagement.
